Cutting the Cord… sort of.

Well, I’ve jumped onto another bandwagon, and bought a Netbook.  Of course, I couldn’t just use public networks, so I had to buy a wireless router, too.

But it works!  I’m typing this on my new Dell 1020 Netbook, or as I call it, LCARS Portable Access Device 78506-0001.

It’ll be nice to be able to do stuff away from the desk, and even nicer to be able to do them away from home.

Now, if I can just get my desktop network configured to allow me to access the netbook and vice-versa…

That’s my opinion, and I’m sticking to it.
